Job IntroductionAs an Employee Relations Specialist Advisor in Support at Work, you will be part of a multiskilled team that provide expert guidance, support and advice to a range of complex Employee Relations case matters and Health and Wellbeing support Services.
Main ResponsibilitiesThis role is permanent and will involve;
- 80% of the role Managing an ER case load; made up of complex investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and appeals, working with Hearing Managers and External Experts to investigate and conclude cases with compassion and in line with process and policy.
- 20% of the role Coordinating and managing various systems and processes such as; Note Taker and Hearing Manager allocation, undertaking governance and quality checks in the case management system, producing data presentations and providing assistance to FOI/DSAR and legal requests.
You will also work with broader key stakeholders across HR People Services, Divisional HR Teams, BBC legal and other internal stakeholders.
Selection Criteria:
- Previous experience of working independently providing specialist and pastoral support to complex Employee Relations case management processes such as; Bullying, Harassment, Pay and Discrimination investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and appeals.
- Be organised, able to prioritise with good time management and able to work under pressure and with pace and urgency.
- A good communicator with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders at one time.
- Able to identify and provide support to colleagues who are experiencing mental health situations.
- Experience of maintaining excel spreadsheets and databases keeping information up to date and undertaking quality checks.
- Able to produce power point presentations/documents using data and being able to highlight trends and insights from the data.
