About GEV

GEV Wind Power has become a leading independent service provider for wind turbine maintenance services globally operating in the sector for more than 10 years.

The business is 100% focused on renewable energy.

With a permanent presence in USA and Europe, GEV Wind Power have delivered unrivalled wind turbine maintenance & blade repair capability throughout Europe, Asia and North America underpinning our presence as a truly global wind turbine maintenance specialist.

Background

You will have a heard about the term 'energy transition' and perhaps wondered what this means and even how you can get involved.

We can see fundamental changes in our daily lives from the electrification of motor vehicles to reducing our dependency on fossil fuels through the increased use of renewable energy sources.

This is leading us to a more sustainable future and helping to protect where we live and the wider health of our planet.

At GEV, we are a key part of this transition and proud to be helping in a small way to accelerate the change.

Our role is critical in supporting power generation from wind energy, where we are the market leader for maintaining one of the key components, the rotor blades.

In the event that the blades become damaged or simply lose their structural integrity through erosion from wind and rain, their efficiency and ability to produce power reduces dramatically.

Our job is to ensure the blades keep their profile and are optimum for producing electricity.

Our work is challenging - wind turbines are typically located in locations proven to be windy and therefore safety is paramount in everything we do, especially for our technicians who can usually be found ascending a 75m rotor blade

Nonetheless, a career with GEV is taking ownership of the challenges we face globally and personally contributing to a positive future for us all.

You will also join a dynamic and team orientated organisation, where the culture is built around collaboration and driving change.

Finally, we are a growing business operating in a sector that has a visible long term future - not a bad place to find yourself in a World of uncertainty
