Our client based in Lindal in Furness are looking for a Production Team Member to start immediately and work with them for a minimum of 4 weeks.
You will work 40 hours a week - Monday to Thursday - 6.00am to 16:30pm.Responsibilities will include:
When operating a machine - As part of the team, be responsible for:
- Ensuring the right raw materials are used in the production process
- Set up, adjust and run machines at the optimum level so that they produce quality products
- Ensuring an effective startup/shut down to ensure all routine checks are complete
- Ensuring all materials are ready for using when required
- Label and pack product correctly and in a timely manner
Always:
- Ensuring downtime is minimised
- Resolving problems that stop or hinder the production or packing process and communicating with the team leader if this happens
- Ensuring all required paperwork/recording of information is accurate and completed on time
- Wearing the appropriate level of PPE and operating the machinery safely
- Ensuring the Standard Operating Procedures are followed
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area
- Commit to the company Values, Policies, Procedures & Objectives
- Any other duties as required from time to time
This is a manual role which involves some lifting and manual handling and standing throughout the day. A strong work ethic and flexible attitude and approach to work is expected.
