This position is a seconded post co-located in the Southwark Inclusive Learning Services (SiLs) Taskforce. The role will include working at the YJS office and SiLs.

The Taskforce adopts a multiagency approach, with an intention to improve specialist skills in Alternative Provision (AP) schools by enhancing the relationships between AP schools and local partnerships.

The pilot project will be trialling the impact of co-locating professionals from health, education, social care, youth services and youth justice in AP schools.

Co
- locating in Southwark Inclusive Learning Service should make referrals to outside services quicker and provide opportunities for practitioners to build trusted relationships with Southwark Inclusive Learning Service pupils.

This role will involve time spent co located at Sils and also spending time with a YJS team based at YJS office in East Dulwich road.

You will hold a caseload with cases form the Taskforce and some cases form the YJS capacity permitting. Strong skills in partnership work and ability to transfer YJS skills to the work of the taskforce is required.
