Finance Admin Assistant / Bookkeeper


Are you an enthusiastic individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for finance? We have an exciting opportunity for you As a Part-Time Accounts Assistant, you'll be joining our dedicated team in NP20, Newport.

Working on behalf of one of our esteemed clients, you'll play a vital role in supporting their finance department.

This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in a dynamic financial environment while contributing to the success of a reputable company.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage purchase ledgers.
  • Handle customer and supplier queries promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements accurately.
  • Process payroll and maintain journals.
  • Generate credit control and creditors payment reports.
  • Complete VAT returns
  • Assist with trial balance and produce financial reports.
  • Undertake general admin tasks and office supply management.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in finance/book keeping preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
  • Effective time management and communication.
  • Relevant qualification advantageous but not essential.

Hours & Pay

  • Enjoy the flexibility of 1618 hours per week competitive salary of £12 per hour, with weekly pay ensuring your hard work is promptly rewarded.

  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
