As a Barclays DFX Analyst, you will be working within a team responsible for the daily processing of interest rate swaps, basis swaps, FX and Money Market instruments executed on the Treasury Charms and Equities trading platforms.

You will be responsiblefor ensuring that cash flows are correctly generated, settled and reconciled across various business areas, whilst as a wider team playing a key role in driving market initiatives and regulatory changes by ensuring we are ahead of competitors.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Agreeing and processing high value settlements daily within currency cut off times
  • Completing Post Settlement reconciliations within various Intellimatch environments
  • Supporting Risk and Control and Regulatory business requirements
  • Managing breaks and exception management
  • Supporting and delivering the Change and Lean efficiencies for the business
  • Actively engaging with projects with key stakeholders in Front Office, Middle Office, Legal and Reference Data

What we're looking for:


  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to identify, escalate and report risks and issues
  • Ability to understand and analyse complex problems and provide effective tactical and strategic solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Settlements experience
  • Financial services experience
  • High level understanding of Settlements, Reconciliations and Operations Trade lifecycle
