Description

Metalisare working with a
specialist controls service provider in recruiting an
Electronic Design Engineer. You will be a time served
Design Engineer who will play an integral part in bringing customers' requirements to life through use of custom-built packages and off the shelf components.

This is an office-based role paying
up to £50,000for the right skillset. You will be involved in a variety of projects across sectors including
Aerospace, MOD, Nuclear, Medical, and more. This business works with some of the biggest companies within their respective sectors.


Role Duties:


  • Creation of drawings for components, PCB Boards & General assemblies.
  • Fault finding on existing drawings.
  • Working with clients to create detailed design briefs.
  • Managing budgets and costings for BOMs
  • Work independently to achieve agreed time frames.


  • Customer relations

  • Project updates.
  • Peer reviewed working.
  • Take an active role in driving innovation within the company.

About You:


  • Able to manage your own workload effectively.
  • Sociable and a team player, wanting to develop within a team.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • A proven track record in electrical design.
  • Knowledge of PCBs & Wiring racks.
  • Knowledge of UtilBoard & Altium.
  • Previous work experience within Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Defence.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques.


We are looking to speak with Design Engineers, Electrical Design Engineers, Controls & Test Engineers, Controls Designers, Assembly Engineers, CAD Engineers.
