Health. Safety & Environment Coordinator | UK Wide | To £35,000 + Car + Benefits
Exciting opportunity to join a leading pharmaceutical wholesaler as a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator

You will join an existing experienced and hands on team, collaborating and driving the HSE agenda across our clients considerable estate throughout the UK

This role will require 2 or 3 days a week on-site and reasonable travel as required by the business.

Key Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator objectives will be:

  • To deliver excellent HSE management across our clients UK estate
  • Ensure our client identifies and complies with legal requirements and relevant standards.
  • Act as point of contact for HSE matters in the first instance.
  • To undertake Health, Safety & Environmental audits and inspections
  • Manage our clients emergency procedures, including training
  • Support Investigations, and review incident metrics, providing metrics to the management team.
  • Provide HSE training as required across sites.
  • Support HSE Team wellbeing program, collaborating with HR and key stakeholders
  • Liaising with multiple sites and multiple departments building positive HSE relationships
  • Introduction, implementation and auditing of ISO 45001:18 and ISO 14001:15

Experience required:

  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Health & Safety Coordinator (or similar role)
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • IOSH and/or IIRSM Technician membership


  • Preferred

  • Internal auditor (as a minimum) for ISO 45001 & 1400
  • Experience in Incident investigation, Risk assessment, inspections/audits
  • Excellent people skills with ability to influence.
  • Good level of prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Trustworthiness/Confidentiality
