Description
Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for a 24/7 Shift Tool Setter (Plastic Injection Moulding Tool Setter) to join their team.


Shift Pattern: 42 hour per week, 12-hour a day Continental Shift pattern on a 3 on 3 off basis, days and nights on rotation.

Salary:
£32,993 basic + £9,037 shift allowance (£42,030 total)


With strong planning and organisational skills, you will have practical experience of the injection moulding process and tool setting procedures, with a flexible and adaptable work ethic.


Responsibilities:


  • Set, start and remove mould tools from injection moulding machines producing plastic building products to company, BS & ISO standards.
  • Ensure that tools are set to achieve the production plan requirements.
  • Undertake minor tool repairs i.e. Water & Hydraulic repairs.
  • Use overhead Crane & Forklift Truck to transport and move tooling.

Requirements:


  • Practical experience of the plastic injection moulding process, in a job such as a Plastic Injection Moulding Tool Setter / Operative / Technician.
  • It would be advantageous if you already are an experienced Tool Setter.
  • Certificated and proficient in the use of Lifting, Craning and Slinging operations.

Salary:
£32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
