Interim Financial Controller | Established Software Tech Company | 6 Months | Newport

Harmonic are delighted to have partnered with an established software tech company in their search for Interim support, this role will sit outside IR35.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Financial Controller who is ready to hit theground running on a 6-month contract with the strong likelihood of becoming permanent.

Based in scenic East Wales, the client's offering a hybrid working environment; 3 days a week in the office for the first month and the potential to reduce to 2 days a week after the first month.

Flexibility on this can potentially be discussed with theclient.

The Role

The role gives the opportunity to work closely alongside a highly experienced CFO who has a strong track record in professional development of his colleagues.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for establishing effective financial control frameworks.

Responsible for maintaining robust controls and reporting processes.
Strategic analysis on budgets and forecasts.
Manage the monthly close and group consolidation process.
Develop high quality financial modelling.
Oversea audit and annual end of month processes.
Adhoc projects supporting the CFO.

Essential Skills.

ACA Qualified
Reporting experience under IFRS
Experience working in companies with turnovers exceeding £60 million
Strong consolidations experience.

Bonus Skills.

Strong working understanding of US GAAP or IFRS
Regulated industries experience (e.g. Financial Services)
