Salary:

Monitored and controlled from our central operations facility in Solihull, these flexible assets deliverelectricity to the national grid, helping to balance the UK energy system and ensure reliable power for homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the contract and supporting planning of projects and ensuring that they are programmed correctly to meet the business requirements
  • Making sure that the procurement and reconciliation of materials are executed accordingly and accurately
  • Examining and/or assessing risks and developing suggestions and recommendations through which they can be minimized
  • Meeting and liaising with potential companies, vendors, and/or contractors to communicate and negotiate contract terms
  • Supervising funds and/or payments and ensuring that they are wellutilized and managed
  • Handling the writing and editing of contracts between companies and potential contractors
  • Leading negotiation with a contractor once the contract has been written
  • Good understanding of legislation and regulations to make sure that contracts are current and in compliant
  • Manage and maintain project risk register
  • Review and make recommendations on potential claims/variations etc

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Contract Management, Accounting, or Business law, or in any other related or relevant field.
  • Several years of proven work experience in projects and contract management
  • An indepth understanding of contract language
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills and able to write and edit contracts clearly and concisely
  • Relationship management is an essential skill, as well as being able to manage conflicts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively with a variety of people
