The outcome of the council's Total Pay and Reward review means the full-time salary for this position from 1st
April 2024 will be £29,777 to £31,364. The salary will be pro rata for part time and term time vacancies.


We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic full time care co-ordinator to join the East Riding Fostering Service on a full time basis.

This is a varied role within the Recruitment and Assessment team of the Fostering Service. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a good fostering service.

This role is varied and will continue to evolve and develop and is crucial to the effectiveness and process management of foster carer recruitment.

The key duties of the Recruitment Team Care Coordinator include:

  • Responding to initial enquiries and undertaking Initial Visits as required
  • Engaging in marketing and recruitment activity
  • Collating data on recruitment activity for reporting by the Assessment Manager
  • Collating applicant packs (Form F and C assessments and checks etc) for Fostering Panel
  • Progressing, collating and recording regulatory checks and references as directed by the Assessment Manager and Assessor
  • Supporting prospective foster carers through the assessment and panel process.
  • Organising fostering training for prospective foster carers.
