Approvals & Regulations Specialist

Up to £46,000 with excellent benefits

Milton Keynes - hybrid (2 days from home)

We're looking for an Approvals & Regulations Specialist with meticulous attention to detail. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week in their Milton Keynes office.

Ideally you will have automotive experience, but a background within engineering would also transfer well into this role.


You will ensure current and future products that are sold by our client and its network are compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements, whilst providing support to the Technical Team and wider business.

Products are sold across UK, Northern Ireland and Europe.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations that enable them to be sold in the UK & Ireland
  • Monitor and advise on future regulatory requirements through relevant bodies for all product lines.
  • Review & maintain Regulation Master List and produce monthly summary of
- all regulation matters.

  • Attend Industry association meetings representing the business on issues relating to existing and
- new regulations and insurance standards

  • Coordinate, set and up and monitor product derogation as required.
  • Evaluate and approve special edition products.
  • Provide technical information and data to the Sales Department
  • Generate and report business compliance in respect of regional regulatory reporting.
  • Coordinate and monitor Group Insurance Ratings for products.
What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar role either within the Automotive industry, or engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, notably Excel
  • Able to interpret data and relay to the business in simple terms.
  • Knowledge and experience of regulatory compliance activities
  • Experience of working with external agencies and industry bodies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of selfmotivation, productivity and acute attention to detail
