GENERAL SUMMARY


Reporting to Quality Manager - CELEROS FLOW TECHNOLOGY, the primary purpose of this apprenticeship is to develop and perform Quality Control related activities.

Work closely with the Quality team in maintaining Customer On-Time Delivery (COTD) for all the tasks and processes using quality tools and systems to meet customer requirements, addressing the opportunities of continuous improvement.

Supporting the Quality team to focus on reducing our Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work through a 4year internal apprenticeship training program, which includes quality inspection/assurance, quality control and Lean/Continuous Improvement. You will also gain exposure to all other manufacturing departments and Quality Documentation
  • Attend day release college and complete all assignments & examinations to obtain relevant BTEC qualifications
  • Complete NVQ level 3 qualification in conjunction with the education provider

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • GCSE passes or equivalent in Maths, English and Science
  • A willingness to learn and to take on new / challenging responsibilities within the business
  • A commitment to completing a fouryear Apprenticeship scheme
  • Desire to continue education beyond a four year Apprenticeship programme
