RT Healthcare are currently looking for an Activiy Coordinator based in PO22.


About the role:


  • Planning delivery of programmes, activities, and actions that engage all our residents
  • Ensure all activities are documented on a daily progress sheet
  • Motivating and inspiring our residents to engage in community integration
  • Engaging and liaising with relatives and care staff regarding the progress of activity and ensure our residents receive the best possible service
  • Always ensure the health and safety of residents and our team
  • Communicate changes and updates with keyworker and others on a need to know basis.
  • Make sure that you, the site, and team are compliant with all policies and procedures
  • Report any incidents or accidents.

Experience:


  • Ideally have previous experience working with older people and dementia and organising activities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or Supporting Activity Provisions or be willing to work towards higher levels of vocational qualifications if required.
  • Driving License
Monday to Friday, 10:00-15:00, working every other weekend, either Saturday or Sunday.
