We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Data Analyst.

In this role you'll gather, organise, scrutinise and interpret our customer & member data - translating your findings into actionable insight to help Southern Co-op make informeddecisions in the delivery of our marketing, membership and consumer strategies.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Proactively contribute to and support delivery of our marketing plan through the identification and promotion of opportunities that are aligned with our overall business strategy and objectives leading to an enhanced customer experience that builds loyalty.
  • Extract and manipulate unstructured raw data from various data sources. Interpret that data into value driven insight.
  • Produce, maintain, and distribute KPI dashboards and reports periodically, post campaign analysis and complete ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Drive enrichment of customer intelligence by creating and implementing appropriate data modelling (segmentation, clustering, profiling and propensity, regression, predictive) and hypotheses testing.
  • Present learnings and collaborate with key stakeholders and business wide teams, being comfortable to provide insightbased response to commercial queries.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Previous experience as a data analyst, or within a similar role.
  • Degree level or equivalent, preferably in a numerate discipline.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a methodical, technical and an inquiring mind.
  • Proficient at data wrangling, enrichment and modelling as well as identifying, investigating, and managing any anomalies.
  • Intermediate experience in digital analytics, CRM and marketing platforms; reporting and visualisation software; and knowledge of demographic profiling tools
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to story tell with data, confident in presenting to audiences at all levels.
  • Motivated, selfstarter, tenacious, attention to detail, with the initiative to prioritise and organise their own workload effectively.
  • An understanding of compliance, data security and GDPR.
  • Specific experience with retail, digital and marketing data, driving customer insight and loyalty is desirable
