Are you a former teacher, or currently teaching and thinking about winding down for more
flexible work? We have plenty of teaching assistant work available supporting children across
EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes, and with the landscape of a mainstream classroom evolving, schools are searching for support in the classroom more than ever.

Tradewind work with schools across all areas of Stockport, including
Reddish,
Bramhalland
Marple.

We are currently looking for
full and
part-
time Teaching Assistants to support both the whole classroom and students on a 1:1 basis with EHCPs.

We currently have roles ranging from
7.5 hours a week to
32 hours a week, with lots in between

Hours for a full day: 8:30AM - 4PM

Pay:
£70 - £80 a day, depending on the role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant your duties can include:

  • Working with the whole class, and in small groups to boost knowledge and grades
  • Supporting and managing a pupil with special educational needs, usually on a 1:1 basis
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

To be successful in the role of Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Have experience working with children
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
