Description
Working 4.5 days a week my client a forward thinking company who specialises in intergration services are now looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join the team.
Overview
As a Project Co-ordinator your key responsibilities include working closely with our Technical and Support Consultants to prepare comprehensive action plans, resource scheduling, timeframes and budgets for projects.
You will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.
Role
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Assign tasks to Consultants and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve
- Analyse risks and opportunities
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Work with the Consultants to eliminate blockers
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Chase up outstanding quotes with the clients as and when required
- Ensure standards and requirements are met
Requirements:
- Qualifications in Business Administration, management or related field
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and stepbystep action plans
- Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and timemanagement
- Strong clientfacing and teamwork skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office especially Excel
- Handson experience with project management tools
