3.5t Van Delivery Driver - Night Shift
Delivery chilled & ambient food & drink to our commercial catering customers throughout the night.

Monday to Friday

Hours between

Full training provided, uniform, pension, 29 days holiday per year including your birthday.

Salary:
£540.00 per week

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations
Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher or supervisor
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tyre pressures
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role (van driver, delivery driver, etc.)
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and routes efficiently
Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks
Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed during loading and unloading
