Description

New hybrid working opportunity as a Commercial Finance Business Partner working with one of the worlds largest insurance companies.

Based in Guildford, you will join the Commercial FBP team which is responsible for supporting the Commercial business in allaspects of Finance; this includes expense management & budgeting, revenue planning, new business modelling, project support and ad-hoc financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the Commercial business to model new broker opportunities;
Take ownership of various monthly revenue & expense reporting processes, including the subsequent communication to key stakeholders;
Play a key role in the annual expense budgeting process;
Contribute towards the revenue & branch planning processes;
Broker override and profit share calculations;
Business performance and results evaluation and reporting;
Deal with adhoc queries and requests from across the business; and
Involvement in corporate projects & initiatives

Skills and Experience Required:

Ideally CIMA/ACCA qualified
A good working knowledge of management accounting techniques
Proven record of providing advice & support to senior stakeholders
Experience of working with colleagues from nonfinance areas of the business
Advanced Excel skills; comfortable dealing with large volumes of data and experience of automating & improving complex numerical models
Some existing knowledge of Insurance would be beneficial
An aptitude for systems work is desirable
