Description

The post holder will be part of an NHS Talking Therapies (formerly known as IAPT) service (TT). They will support the Team Leader to clinically lead, co-ordinate and manage the locality team staff, who provide high intensity interventions

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Psychological Therapies (PT), and Low Intensity Guided Self Help Interventions.

They will take particular responsibility for case management of clinicians as suitable and agreed, ensuring that patients have a timely access to treatment from referral, Recovery is maintained above target and that waiting times are kept to a minimum.

Under the guidance of the Team Leader and/or the Service Lead the post holder will also lead or contribute to service-wide project work to improve clinical quality and staff wellbeing through initiatives such as service evaluation and quality improvement.

They should have experience of managing others and leading teams in a TT/IAPT service, or demonstrable potential to do so.

Applicants should have a good understanding of the National NHS Talking Therapies programme, including the Key Performance Indicators alongside a flexible clinical leadership and management style.
