Our client is a successful small group accountancy practice, based in the East/South East of England. Due to their current growth plans, they are looking for a full-time General Practice Assistant Managerto support their senior team with accountingduties and wider client services.

About the role
This role would suit a friendly, motivated and professional individual, looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the General Practice Managerwill be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing high-qualitycompliance services for a range of private clients.


Key aspects of the role include:

  • Being accountable for the provision of accounting services, including corporate and personal tax returns, and special services for a portfolio of clients;
  • Providing projections and forecasting information, as well as consolidations;
  • Preparing budgets for accounts work, managing budgets and compliance processes;
  • Producing VAT returns and providing an indepth knowledge and advice service to clients;
  • Reviewing company secretarial annual returns, other submitted Companies House forms, P11D and other payroll advice and services,including submitted FPS and EPS as required;
  • Reviewing work of staff, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards and requirements, and delegating tasks effectively.

The position would suit an excellent communicator, keen to progress in their role.

The person should be motivated to manage a team,work independently in a role with tight deadlines, and be able to produce high-quality and accurate work.
