THIS POST IS FIXED TERM / SECONDMENT FOR 10 MONTHS.


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Test Team Principal, to join the Digital Medicines Transformation Portfolio (DMTP) supporting the implementation of the electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) in secondary care across NHS in Wales.


To lead and manage the testing of a series of APIs to verify that the API fulfils its expected functionality, security, performance, and reliability.


To develop and maintain the project test strategy for projects within the Digital Medicines Transformation Portfolio (DMTP) in accordance with specifications and operational requirements of NHS Wales.

To manage a team of Test Analysts & Testers daily, complete PDRs, time sheets, back to work reviews.


To represent testing for projects within DMTP, working with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Owners/Managers to ensure definition of ready and definition of done are complete.

To represent testing in backlog, sprint planning, retrospectives meetings.

To ensure that the APIs performs to the requirements of its users and clinicians.

To provide specialist advice and support on software testing to the NHS in various areas of health informatics

All testing work is undertaken in accordance with the policies, processes and procedures as described by the Digital Health Care Wales Test Framework

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
