REED Talent Solutions are working with a local authority in Trafford to find a Pensions and Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis.

Salary:
£45k-50k

The role::

To support the development of a 'leading edge' Shared Service Centre for Partnership members, ensuring a high performing and customer focused transactional HR, Payroll and Pension service that is continuously improving and seen as bestinclass publicsector model._
Effective management and lead responsibility for a comprehensive payroll and pension service for a number of organisations in compliance with legislation, regulations, procedures and local agreements._
Lead on the provision of expert advice and guidance on payroll and pensions to a number of customer organisations._
To lead and develop the Payroll & Pension Team to ensure they meet the strategic goals of the HR Shared Service Centre in terms of HR and Payroll expertise and customer service._
Operate at a strategic level to deliver a payroll and pension service that is highly responsive to demand and customer needs, ensuring the effective use of resources._

Experiences required::

MCIPP or relevant professional membership_
Extensive experience of leading and coordinating a large team of payroll, pension or finance staff within a complex organisation_
A record of success in transformation management of a finance, payroll or pension shared service functions with achievement of sustainable improvements_
