They are looking for a Category Manager to work across cross-functional to drive the performance of a specific set of brands across all channels and markets.

Your roles and responsibilities as Category Manager -

Build the budgets and range & ensuring stock is ordered and allocated correctly
Lead category management team team of 2 to 3 people
Trade and promote category and profitably clear stock
KPIs include department sales, gross margin £'s and stock, intake margin, terminal, stock, density, stock turn, and availability targets
Prepare and deliver annual and seasonal strategies
Identify new opportunities and develop relationships with potential new brands
Deliver range presentations
Ensure WSSI and commitments are accurately maintained
Monitor topline flow of stock in and out of the Distribution Centre
Extensive experience within a retail business with multiple channels as Category Manager, Branded Buying or Merchandising
Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of planning systems
Must have management experience and leading a team
Excellent negotiation skills
Demonstrates high level of commercial awareness
Understanding of key metrics of the merchandising functions such as OTB, Range reviews, and sales & stock intake
