Description
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and compliance.

This position involves managing various aspects of maintenance and serving as the first point of contact for issues related to fuel systems, canopies, signage, backlands, and fabric.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating with contractors, managing work orders, and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

-
Direct Report to Fuel Systems Manager: Report directly to the Fuel Systems Manager and be responsive to any ad-hoc tasks or directives coming from them.
-
First Point of Contact: Act as the initial point of contact and barrier for issues, addressing and resolving them where possible before escalating to the Fuel Systems Manager.
-
Wet Stock Management: Monitor and address wet stock issues promptly, including drainbacks, water in tanks, PLLD shutdowns, sensor issues, and measurement checks.
-
Maintenance of Fuel Systems: Oversee maintenance and repair activities related to fuel systems, canopies, signage, backlands, and fabric, including addressing water leaks.
-
Point of Escalation: Serve as the point of escalation for helpdesk, engineers, site managers, territory managers, and contractors, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
-
Compliance Auditing: Audit compliance paperwork, such as Work Completion Forms (WCFs), before the deadline (15th of the month).
-
Contractor Management: Manage general contractor relationships, including attendance, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), job prioritization, financial matters, addressing errors, and handling poor performance.
-
Shared Inbox: Collaborate with team members to cover workloads during busy periods or team members' absences.
-
Work Order Management: Log and manage work orders using the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, including job logging, note addition, collation, updates, closures, cancellations, and verification of job information. Raise bulk work orders when necessary.
-
Coordinate Joint Visits: Arrange and facilitate joint visits between contractors and engineers to expedite issue resolution, ensuring all relevant information is shared among all parties involved.
-
Financial Management: Exercise financial management by assessing whether a job can be handled in-house by engineers rather than contracting it out, thus optimizing costs.
-
Health and Safety Priorities: Assess and prioritize health and safety concerns during adverse weather conditions, determining which jobs require immediate attention based on factors such as distance, wind speeds, severity, and potential safety risks.
-
CAFM System Oversight: Monitor the CAFM system for errors and discrepancies, correcting any issues related to job logging, SLAs, contractor assignments, and information accuracy.
-
Safety and Security: Ensure that all SHELL sites are maintained and operated safely and securely at all times.
