Hyde are recruiting for a Gas Area Manager

Hyde is one of the UK's leading Housing Associations. Property Services at Hyde is responsible for ensuring that we provide all customers with a safe and decent home.

As a Gas Area Manager, you will oversee and manage the gas service and repair team ensuringa customer focused approach and a right first-time repairs service in line with agreed budgets and performance measures.

Key Responsibilities of a Gas Area Manager:

Manage the team to ensure that key performance indicators, such as Customer Satisfaction, RFT and repairs priorities, are achieved and that works orders are closed within agreed timescales.
Manage trades operatives to ensure right firsttime completion of jobs and that all health and safety is complied with to safeguard our staff and the public.
Ensure that works allocation is monitored to ensure full use of time is achieved.
Monitor budgets ensuring repair jobs are correctly raised and allocated to the correct budget codes to ensure correct capitalisation of works.
Build effective stakeholder relations and attend meetings with service providers and residents and internal stakeholders as and when required.
Undertake contract management including relevant risk assessments, health and safety and budget monitoring Manage the void process ensuring a fast turnaround of stock.
Provide training and any required support tools in order to coach and equip individuals with appropriate business knowledge and skills.

Essential Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer wanting to progress on to Supervisor
Great Customer Service Skills
Essential Qualifications: CCN1 CKR1 CENWAT
