Our client is looking for an Aviation Co-ordinator on a contract basis, located in Aberdeen.


ROLE
This role is responsible for aviation logistics coordination and management of aviation activities across the business.


As part of the Supply Chain Department the Aviation Logistics Coordinator reports to the Head of Logistics Operations and will manage the aviation logistics function supporting all UK operations ensuring compliance to the Company Aviation Standard and UK CAA / EASA Aviation standards.


The jobholder is responsible for scheduling personnel for offshore travel, liaising internally (Drilling Team, Assets Team & Projects Team), externally and with 3rd party vendors and contractors to ensure that Company contracted aviation resources are utilised in an optimum and the most efficient manner.


The role is to promote synergies in Aviation Logistics internally between business units and externally with Partners to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective aviation logistics model.

In addition, the Aviation Logistics Coordinator shall provide support to the Logistics Team in minimising risk and optimising value.

The job holder will provide business analysis, support and insight on Logistics activities at an Asset, Project and E&P levels.


The role will be in charge of development and management of Logistics Dashboard allowing to capture relevant performance data and KPIs allowing the to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective logistics model for UK and NL.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Sponsor for aviation contracts supporting Head of Logistics during sourcing exercise(s).
  • Plan helicopter logistics and offshore POB, schedule Company and 3rd party aviation resources, and administer internal and vendor/contractor allocations according to requests from relevant departments (Drilling, Assets, Projects, etc) and in line with company requirements.
  • Contact vendors for planning purposes and allocate offshore technicians to platforms and satellites as efficiently and costeffectively as possible.
  • Verify scheduled crew changes and check flight allocations, make and communicate improvements and propose schedule changes, given required flight frequency and possible time scheduling, in order to ensure a costefficient scheduling of helicopters.
  • Registering flight allocation details, check and administer validity of medical and basic offshore training for vendors in line with company procedures and system requirements.
  • Manage the allocation of aviation logistics costs to correct cost centres
  • Raise Purchase Requisitions, and Service Entry Sheets in SAP in support of Aviation Logistics Contracts and Services;
  • Participate in industry workgroups (OEUK, ASTG, ISAR, HCA, etc) and steering committee as required.
  • Deliver appropriate training and functional guidance to operations groups offshore to ensure efficiency and compliance with the Company Aviation standards.
  • Actively engage with wider Logistics team to ensure that knowledge sharing takes part to further enhance the Logistics process and procedures.
  • Support Head of Department to implement the Company's Aviation strategy.
  • Company Vantage Admin updating personal and certification details in Vantage.
  • Participate in Oncall Duty Rota for the Logistics Team to support Company Emergency Response actions as required.
Technical Assurance

  • Coordination of aviation technical assurance activities for UK and NL operations. Arrangement of aviation and helideck audits offshore and follow up on all identified actions.
  • Focal point for the Aviation Technical Authority and all aviation related matters.
  • Management of the UK Asset's helideck certification and arrangement of necessary monthly / annual inspections with HCA. Follow up on all actions with the offshore Assets ensuring full compliance of the offshore helidecks.
  • Focal point for the HCA inspections.
  • Development and management of pilot dashboard for the MHUB asset ensuring safe helicopter operations.
  • Management of HCOMS software and training of offshore HDAs and HLOs.
Performance Lead

  • Provide analytical support to Logistics Team.
  • Interface with contractors over administration of contract KPI's and action lists.
  • Responsible for preparation of cost breakdown, allocation and analysis of logistics services (Aviation, Marine and Shorebase).
  • Responsible for preparation of weekly, monthly and adhoc management & reporting.
  • Input of Logistics requisitions into SAP ensuring appropriate level of information is included, seeking approvals and preparation of subsequent Service Entry Sheets
  • Attend performance review meetings, operations/campaign planning meetings, budget meetings etc. to establish logistics requirements
  • Administer Logistics contracts, developing and reviewing contract specific KPI's, reviewing supplier performance and provide feedback to Contract Owner and stakeholders to support performance reviews
