In the first year to 18 months, you will also play an important role in the biggest technology change programme in the history of the GLA, the IT Shared Service (ITSS).

The ITSS will aim to transform the GLA's technology capabilities with Transport for London (TfL) taking over the provision of all operational IT services to the GLA.

We will offer you a supportive environment and together, we will take a joined up, digital-first approach to continuously improve and transform the digital experience of both GLA users and Londoners.

Your day-to-day work:

On a day-to-day basis, your work will include:

  • Providing a user perspective to the work of specialists in the DEU (e.g., Business Analysts and User Researchers).
  • Working across the customer base at the GLA, MOPAC and OPDC, including the Change Champions in particular, to understand their needs and issues and provide regular guidance to them in the use of their IT and digital services.
