Description

The Role
An established Brokerage and Asset Management firm is looking for an execution/sales trader with 3-4 years' experience to cover US hours, working closely with other execution/sales traders, investment teams and operational staff

Key responsibilities

Execution of US orders for both the Brokerage and Asset Management departments
Execution of FX for cross currency and conversion orders
Obtaining locates for conversion orders
Booking of completed orders
Liaising with clients, sales traders & internal fund managers to receive and recap orders
Working with backoffice, prime brokers and system providers to improve processes

Skills, experience, and qualifications

Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of Bloomberg
Understanding of Order Management and Execution Management Systems
34 years previous experience of trading equities, preferably US
An understanding of ADRs
Ability to work within a global team, often communicating via IB chat rather than in person
Ability to work alone, without assistance during the evenings
Ability to code in excel and or python would be beneficial
