What will you do?


You will own and drive the tender and service contract management process from Opportunity Identification to post tender post award and subsequent contract renewals across our Phadia allergy and autoimmunity business.


In this role you are responsible for the entire tender process, from request to submitting, organizing and coordinating this in the most efficient way.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify relevant tenders from the appropriate sources of information
  • Distribute tender details to relevant collaborators across the business
  • Coordinate the completion of the tender offer, including all the required documents in conjunction with relevant departments
  • With support of our Legal Department, examine any tender terms and conditions and highlight potential issues
  • Ensure all submissions are received by the relevant authority by the required timeline and are compliant and submitted on time in full
  • Coordinate all posttender clarifications
  • Maintain Tender Knowledge Bank database
  • Responsible for coordinating the end to end process from pre Service Contract expiry through to renewal
  • Ensure all Service Contracts are accurate, valid and in date
  • Working closely with Laboratory Account Managers, Customer Services, Contracts, Technical Services
  • Maintain central record of all tender projects, submissions and awards
  • Support the Contracts & Tender Manager monitor reasons for losses, produce report
  • Collaborate with Contract Coordinator to ensure contract terms reflect those within the tender submission
  • Assist with customer quotations and price queries
  • Provide cover for the Contract Coordinator
  • Build up and maintain a good relationship with the customers, business partners (including Managed Service Providers) and internal partners such as representatives in Finance, Service Organization, Legal and in the global support organization

Other Responsibilities:


  • Update SAP with annual price increases
  • Provide Data Dumps for the LAMs for quotations
  • Customer Notifications collaborating closely with marketing

Skills & Experience:


Your qualities:


  • Experience in a tendering role
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills including working accurately and able to set priorities
  • Use own initiative and to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Detail orientated with a strong business insight

Desirable qualities:


  • Experience working in the NHS / Healthcare organisation
  • Experience with SAP computer system
