Teaching Assistant Level 2, St Sidwell's CofE Primary School

Contract Term:
Fixed term contract for the summer term


Hours:26 hours - flexible, could be split into two posts from hours per week and include MTA role of 5 hours


Salary:
Grade SC - SCP 3-5 Starting salary £20,812 - £21,575, actual salary £12,259 - £12,708


Weeks per annum:38 weeks per year - term time

Are you ready to make a difference to individual lives, supporting learning and community? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team.

You will be a real team player, full or energy, enthusiasm and a positive outlook ensuring the best learning and care for our children.

You will have an excellent understanding of the learning and welfare needs of children and want to work as part of a strong team.


As a Teaching Assistant for, you will work under the guidance of teaching staff with an agreed system of supervision, to implement work/care/support programmes in or out of the classroom to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teachers in the management of pupils.

You will be able to work across all ages including working 1:1 with children with additional needs.
