Description

This is a pivotal hands-on role to work for a leading financial service specialist.

This is a new and key job function within the business who are bringing their IT service in-house from a 3rd party.

You will have strong technical knowledge and capability in the implementation and configuration of security and IT systems. With an in depth knowledge and ability to architect infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

Responsible for foundational building and taking ownership of current IT Infrastructure and future cloud solutions, solution designs, managing and delivering the implementations.

You will have demonstrable experience of the following:

Microsoft Azure including cloud-based tools such as backup and Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Azure Active Directory, etc.
Owning and managing a hybrid infrastructure environment based on systems hosted internally and externally, including PaaS and SaaS and Azure working within an ITIL Framework.
Expert Microsoft qualification
ITIL qualification
Azure AD
Active Directory
DNS, DHCP
Cisco switching,
Meraki Wi-Fi, switches firewalls
WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN networks
VMware ESXi
O365 administration and security

This role will be based in the City of London with a nice mix of remote (2/3 days per week) and office based (2/3 days per week) work.

A starting salary in the region of £54,000 plus benefits.
