Main duties of the jobAs a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year. The postholder will provide a range of health and wellbeing and harm reduction interventions to service users, in accordance with the agreed model of service delivery. As part of this role, you will plan, coordinate and support appropriate detoxification from drugs and/or alcohol, assessing the needs of service users and implementing and evaluating care plans. It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners for the continuity of service, as well as leading on providing community detoxification programmes, clinics and groups. This is a part time and permanent role, working 22.5 hours per week - this must include working a Tuesday, with the remainder of the days of work flexible in agreement with the hiring manager. We can offer paid NMC registration, as well as paid CPD/revalidation time.

Job responsibilitiesJoin us as a Substance Misuse Nurse in Scunthorpe - Job Description/Person Specification. Our team in Scunthorpe are recruiting for an experienced Substance Misuse Nurse, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative registered nurse, passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you. The postholder will provide a range of health and wellbeing and harm reduction interventions to service users, in accordance with the agreed model of service delivery.
