We are seeking a full time Aircraft Maintenance Administrator to join our friendly Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Team.
The position is based at 2Excel Engineering, Lasham Airfield in Hampshire, however travel to other 2Excel or supplier sites may be required.
This position will provide vital support for the 2Excel Aviation Fleet Engineer based at Lasham, completing various administrative tasks and supporting the link between maintenance and engineers, enabling the representation of 2Excel Aviation as a customer in person.
This position is a new role and is initially offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 6 months. The role may become permanent dependent how the team structure evolves.The role's key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the regular communication/liaison with the MRO before, during and after base maintenance inputs, including slot management
- Information gathering to ensure the Fleet Engineer has sufficient information to attend preinput meetings, daily/weekly production meetings and post maintenance washup continuous improvement meetings
- Assist with the timely provision of scheduled spares and mod kits prior to maintenance input
- Support the Fleet Engineer to approve defect rectification, additional tasks, spares requirements as required in support of the contract
- Coordination and assist the liaison between the MRO, Logistics and Spares Providers during the input to facilitate the planned check schedule with the guidance of the Fleet Engineer
- Input and distribution of regular maintenance progress reports to Fleet Managers and CAM
- Review of Maintenance and Aircraft Documentation during input and prior to release to service
- Review and allocation of Invoices post maintenance
- Ability to work as part of a team and without direct supervision
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive, cando attitude, with a willingness to work in a variety of environments
- Knowledge of aviation regulations such as EASA Part M and Part 145 is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience working in a similar position as a Technical Representative and/or as part of significant modification programmes would be advantageous
