Description
KCM Waste Management seek to appoint a Tyre Fitter to work within our busy on-site Maintenance Garage.

This position will see you become part of a versatile team of HGV Maintenance Technicians.

You will be undertaking tyre servicing, new tyre fitting and attending roadside breakdowns.


Excellent organisational and communication skills would be beneficial to the role in order to efficiently liaise with management and ensure all works are completed within the correct priority order.

You will also be required to work overtime on a Saturday morning when necessary.

A background in HGV mechanics is desirable.


Duties include

  • Daily inspections
  • Tyre servicing
  • New tyre fitting
  • Breakdown assistance
  • General housekeeping
  • Completion of job sheets
  • Maintain stock of tyres

Experience and key skills required

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience within a commercial tyre fitting role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in working as part of a team
  • A commitment to completing work to a high standard

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
From £14.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
