Hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday shifts standard 8am-5pm

We're looking for a
People Coordinatorworking in Avonmouth (BS11) for a large plant hire company. The role will be overseeing and delivering training to our colleagues on an individual, team and organisational level. We are looking for peoplewith experience in Learning & Development roles, as well as experience in leadership, coaching positions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Consulting with the business to design and evaluate People Development initiatives that support the immediate and future organisational strategic goals
  • Designing and delivering engaging People Development initiatives tailored to development needs of our people across all levels, including leadership programs and personal and team development programs
  • Driving engagement with the Academy and contributing to the platform with relevant and current selfled people development content and managing and engaging in learning communities
  • Proactively researching and identifying best practice initiatives and embedding them as appropriate to ensure you have a deep understanding of uptodate learning techniques
  • Identification, liaising and managing relationships with external manufacturers, suppliers, coaches, facilitators etc.
  • Working closely with Global counterparts to ensure cross training is being covered where possible.

Required Experience:


  • You have experience in a fast paced business environment across different locations
  • You are engaging, creative and a confident communicator and facilitator
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills
  • You have an adaptable interpersonal and influencing style with experience liaising with many stakeholders
  • You are proactive, flexible and positive in a changing fast paced environment
  • You have experience of the entire or parts of the learning cycle
  • You have experience coaching individuals and teams
  • You have experience evaluating and managing external providers/suppliers
  • You are willing to travel to other offices (UK & US) if required
  • You have experience with learning management systems and HR management systems
  • You have experience in delivering training
  • You have excellent organisational skills

Education Requirements:


  • Confident using MS Office suite including Teams at intermediate level
  • Working knowledge of apprenticeships (this would be great but it's not essential)
