Role Overview
As Associate Director, Resource Management for GroupM Nexus Global, you will support our offshore resourcing strategy Globally.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding & prioritizing the needs of the regions, then matching those to resources in India, LATAM and Poland Offshore Hubs.

You will also support the Global Hub management in reviewing FTE utilization and employee engagement.


You will report into the People Planning Director, Resource Management (Global Offshore) and you will be based on the UK.


Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Establish trust and ways of working with market and Global leadership, to create the best fit between talent and work, connecting career ambitions with operational efficiencies.
  • Regularly engage discipline and market leadership on futurefacing workforce planning exercises, aligning information related to progression, rotations and retention/employee relations with projected changes in staffing needs and team structures.
  • Continuously checkin with market and offshore team leads as work progresses; ensuring the resource plan continues to satisfy market needs and to help resolve any obstacles that may arise along the way
  • Negotiating resourcing difficulties through creative solutions and presenting alternatives

Talent Team Partnership

  • Partnership with Talent Acquisition and HR to identify talent and skill gaps & prioritize open positions
  • Support longterm planning of hiring Talent by providing staffing trends, analysing current and future utilization and future skills needs
  • Provides business context and input for Learning and Effectiveness teams to develop training programs
  • DE&I ensure casted Talent represents a diverse set of backgrounds, skillsets and expertise
  • Act as confidante and partner in sensitive talent issues, maintaining the strictest of confidentiality
  • Work with the broader People team to identify and assess employee's interests and development areas, offering opportunities to align client scopes to employee's growth and mobility desires.
  • Facilitate seamless internal rotations, keeping all stakeholders appropriately updated and managing risk

Data-driven Workforce Planning

  • Work with team leads to continually assess account needs and develop a resource plan to ensure we continue to deliver bestinclass work and consistently meet deadlines set by our clients leading to reallocation of resources where necessary
  • Monitor group bandwidth and maximize utilization across clients and teams
  • Drive staffing recommendations based on budgets, timelines and clear knowledge and understanding of skill sets across all departments/clients in the market
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to continuously finetune their hiring cadence based on changing demand forecasts

Support in managing the Resource Management Team**- Continuous improvement & best practise - supporting roll out of initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance team performance

  • Managing and upskilling the Resource Management team globally

Qualifications

Experience that you bring to this role:

  • Minimum 4-7 years previous experience in Talent Management/Resource Management/Commercial, Project Management, Operations or Biddable Media Activation
  • Confidence and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Exceptional diligence and attention to detail as well as resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment
  • Affinity for numbers, leveraging a datadriven, analytical approach to decision making
  • Experience in change management (ideally)
