Mpeople recruitment are excited to be in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company based in the Tameside area, who are looking to add a
Production Controller to their team.

This position will work on a full time, permanent basis.

Role: Production Controller

Location:Hyde

Hours:36 hours per week


Duties as a Production Controllerwill include but not be limited to**:

  • Managing the MRP scheduling system
  • Checking, tracking, locating and moving manufactured work packs
  • Organising work packs by due date
  • Supporting production management team
  • Run, issue and monitor 'work to' lists
  • Review work pacts to ensure correct information is displayed i.e. names, addresses etc.
  • Reporting progress daily to customers

The successful Production Controllerwill possess the following skills**:

  • Knowledge of MRP systems in manufacturing or production environment
  • Good understanding of sheet metal and assembly process
  • Excellent IT skills including the use of Excel
  • Ability to work flexible hours should the need arise
