What are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic
Client Services Administrator Apprentice to join our team at MMG.

You will be responsible for providing administration support to the various departments of the business whilst gaining a SVQ in Business and Administration at SCQF level 5.

This role can be based in our Dundee, Perth, Crieff, Forfar, Montrose or Brechin Office full time.


What's involved in the Qualification?


As part of this role, you will be working towards gaining a SVQ in Business and Administration at SCQF level 5.

This qualification is designed to equip those working in business and administration with the skills and knowledge they need to demonstrate competence in their job role.


The qualification takes around 12 months to complete, so the role will be for a fixed period of one year with the potential to extend.


What are the duties and responsibilities?

  • Providing administration support to the various departments of the business
  • To request, gather and transfer client records into the relevant formats
  • To prepare the relevant output documentation for clients for the various departments
  • To assist with relevant steps within the new client take on process
  • To assist with setting up HMRC authority for clients
  • To answer calls and deal with clients and third party queries
  • Manage task list and prioritise workload within dealings
  • Schedule and manage diaries for client meetings and ensure the relevant paperwork is prepared and meeting rooms booked where applicable
  • Update and maintain the practice management system
  • Maintain client records and ensure these are returned to clients within an appropriate timeframe
  • Ensure the work is conducted in a responsible, compliant and timely manner whilst following all processes
  • Ensure completes apprenticeship work on time and to a high standard

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

Ø Is looking to gain knowledge and experience within an administrative role, whilst working towards SVQF Level 5 admin qualification.

Ø Ability to effectively use their initiative.


Ø Ability to correspond with clients (where appropriate) and colleagues by phone, face-to-face or via electronic or paper communications in a professional and timely manner.

Ø Shares the Core Values of the Company (Does the right thing, delivers quality work on time, possesses a positive can-do attitude, adapts to change & continually develops and is a reliable team player)
