WHM Pet Group (Marriages) are looking for a new team member to join their Quality team at our Driby Site:


Job Purpose:

Responsible for supervision of Quality Assistant personnel, validating activities on the production lines as well as monitoring the Quality Assurance section to ensure that the company standards and customer's expectations are met.

To be an effective member of the HACCP team.


Main Duties

• Supervision and support of Quality Assistant personnel to ensure all products are produced to Customer Specification
• Labelling and Coding Validation
• Validate CCP training of operators, carrying out retraining where required
• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are available
• Check and log line retained production samples
• New Product Development sample preparation
• Ensure Customer shelf life are correct to customer specification
• Coordination of Customer Complaints, ensuring timely response
• Carry out regular traceability and Mock recall exercises
• Assist with customer audit
• Log and organise laboratory testing of raw materials to schedule
• Undertake a range of Audits including GMP and Glass and Hard Plastic
• Request hygiene support as required in the area
• Enforce Jewellery, Eating, PPE and Hygiene Company Policies in the area
• Ensure accuracy of daily production paperwork and retention as part of our Due Diligence

Qualifications & Skills

• Internal Auditor
• HACCP

• Food Hygiene Level

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management and attendance required

This will be a 45 hour a week contract

• Monday to Friday

. Some flexibility with start and finish times available, ideally 6am to 3pm.
Within each 9 hour shift, there will be an 1/2 hour paid lunch break.
Workwear is provided.


Salary:
From £28,000.00 per year
