Job Description:
The Global Applications Gatekeeper will be responsible for the provisioning, control and monitoring of system access to Finance Applications through acting as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance with Brambles access and Segregation of Duties policies.
- Assist the Global Applications Control & Compliance Manager;
- Assist in delivering system related business process improvements for key business areas
Responsibilities:
- Use business process and technical knowledge to manage, control, approve and provision day to day system access requests via ServiceNow and through working closely with IS security teams and business owners
- Propose, advise and document mitigating controls to mitigate the Segregation of Duties conflicts and critical transaction access
- Work with business and IS security to build / redesign finance system roles in Brambles core systems
- Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders (e.g. PwC, Finance Process Owners) to agree key mitigating controls. New controls to be referred to Global Applications Control & Compliance manager for approval
- Prepare periodic reports on Segregation of Duties status for Regional Gatekeepers and Regional Controllers for review and signoff of compliance
- Assist the Global Applications Control & Compliance Manager in the maintenance of the Brambles Segregation of Duties framework to ensure compliance with Brambles access and segregation of duties policies
Post schooling qualification in Accounting, Finance, IT or other business-related fields is advantageous.
- Has experience in system and / or finance compliance related projects.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Ability to influence key stakeholders (e.g. process owners)
- Ability / knowledge to work with IT and PMO teams.
- Knowledge of Finance systems and Master Data elements
