About The Role


Our Head Office is based at Progress Drive Cannock, however you will be
providing Supervision to our teams in Wales and may be required to work at any other location as determined by the needs of the Company to fulfil your role.


In the role of Poling Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the supervision and development of our gangs of Poling Operatives/Engineers.

You'll report into the Poling Manager.


The job duties will involve:

  • First point of contact for the operational "gangs"
  • Documentation and Supervision to ensure that Health and Safety duties are met
  • Submitting daily attendance reports
  • Coaching and mentoring the team to driving productivity, efficiency and improvement.
  • Submission of Completion and Fails report
  • Dealing undertaking and submitting Compliant or Quality audits

About You

Essential requirements include:

  • Experience within a similar operational environment within the telecommunications industry.
  • A full clean UK driving licence
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Willing to undertake relevant training and development
  • A strong commitment to Health and Safety
  • Prepared to work overtime and have flexibility to work unsocial hours to meet the needs of the business.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
