Bare Hall Residential Care Home is looking for
Elder Care Assistants to join our team

We have 2 positions available.

Nights 10pm-7am, 18 hours per week over a 7 week rota

Evenings 6pm-10pm, 14 hours per week over a 2 week rota

About the role
The Elder Care Assistant is responsible for assisting seniors with daily living needs and activities of daily living.

Essential functions:

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (e.g. bathing, feeding, transferring), dressing and grooming.
Observe and monitor residents health conditions, and report them to the management.
Communicate with the residents family or friends regarding a problem or concern.
Record and update information on the residents care plan.
Assist in maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
Clean and disinfect environments.
Provide emotional support as needed.

Experience:

Experience working with or around people with disabilities would be helpful.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.

Applicants must be 18 years + for insurance purposes.
