We are working with a very exciting equity fund that are looking to hire the third member of their investment team as they enter a period of growth.

The team invests into listed equities, predominantly in the small cap space, performing extremely detailed deep dive research and looking at under analysed areas of the market.

The portfolio is highly concentrated, with a long term focus, and there is also the opportunity to look at soft-activist positions, making this a really interesting challenge.

Performing fundamental research on listed equities.

Meeting with company management.

Financial modelling.

Preparation of reports for the investment committee & the presentation of these.

Engagement with sell side analysts.

Portfolio monitoring.

This is a junior role so we are looking for someone with around 1-5 years work experience

Applicants should possess:
1-5 years experience in equity research (ideally buy-side), investment banking (M&A), or private equity.

Excellent financial modelling skills.

A passion for bottom up, fundamental research.

A genuine interest in financial markets, being well-read around investing and ideally having had a PA.

Excellent academics.

A collaborative and non-ego driven approach to work.

The ability to be self reflective and learn from mistakes.
