Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate plant room equipment to customer requirements.
Maintain plant room equipment. This includes operational checks, routine maintenance, and reactive maintenance.
Contribute to the successful delivery of a coolant management program.
Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).
Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary.
Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to ATS Site Leadership.
Plan / prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.
Update records in CMMS.
Provide support and back up for other members of department as needed by site leadership.
Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Complete on the job training for career development.
Provide inputs in CI activities processes, results and cost savings.
Follow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Behaviors Required:

Essential KSAs

Must be able to use basic hand tools.

Desirable KSAs:

Must be able to use basic hand tools.
Knowledge of compressed air, vacuum or steam systems
Experience as a plant room operator / maintenance engineer / service engineer operating in an industrial environment
High degree of professionalism.
Commitment to confidentiality.
Good organizational skills.
