An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic individual to join our established Advanced Critical Care Practitioner team as a trainee.

We are recruiting to posts in General Intensive Care, Neuro Intensive Care and Cardiac Intensive Care. Applicants are asked to select their preferred speciality when invited to interview.


The Successful applicant will have to commit to participating in and successful completion of an academic and clinical training programme, leading to an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Critical Care) and membership with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.

There will be clinical training and learning opportunities with robust assessment of practice overseen by a nominated Consultant educational supervisor.

Trainees will have the opportunity to rotate to General and Cardiac Intensive Care as part of their training programme.

The post holder will be paid at band 7 (minimum of 3 years) leading to a B8a on completion of required competencies, MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and achievement of FICM membership.
