The shift pattern for this position is weekdays. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
We are advertising for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist for the West of Scotland Renal Transplant Service, based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.
The aim is to contribute to the effectiveness and quality of care offered by the West of Scotland Renal Transplant Service in keeping with UK guidelines for live kidney donation.
The post holder provides input into the multidisciplinary team of transplant surgeons, nephrologists and live donor transplant coordinators.
The post would be an excellent opportunity for a clinician with established experience in developing psychological services for surgical/medical patients, as a major requirement of the job, to carry out research activities, audit, policies and service development.
We look forward to receiving enquiries about this post from HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists who have post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan development psychology.
