Vacancy for a Team Administrator

Band 3, 37.5 Hours Per Week


Base:
Walsall CAMHS, Canalside, Abbotts Street, Bloxwich


Walsall's CAMHS Service is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Administrator with proven skills to complement our existing administrative team.

Our service is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, specialist nurses, systemic, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists.


This post will be based in Walsall locality however applicants much be prepared to work across the Black Country as and when required.


Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability and community healthcare services for the population of the Black Country.


Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was formed on 1 April 2020, after NHS England and NHS Improvement approved the merger of Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

As part of this very busy team you will need to provide an efficient, effective, professional and confidential secretarial service to our large team of clinicians.

You will also be expected to provide diary management, such as booking appointments and to maintain records, both paper and electronic, in accordance with Trust policy.


You will work closely with other administrative staff to ensure continuity of administration support and mutual assistance within the service.

It will be expected that the post holder will be able to think on their feet, provide flexible cover for service opening hours and able to cover times of absence such as holidays and sick leave.


The work will be demanding and varied and you will be required to have excellent demonstrable administrative skills, be confident and assertive and be able to work autonomously using your own initiative.

You should be a competent audio typist and have a good knowledge of Excel.
