Accounts Manager
Diss, Norfolk
Up to £35,000 + Study Support (ACCA or CIMA)

We are delighted to supporting our client, a highly successful professional services business, that are keen to complement the existing team with the appointment of a skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to support a portfolio of clients with accountingrequirements.

Role Requirements:
Continuous improvement of month end processes for a variety of clients including PLCs
Completing accurate monthly management accounting duties and reporting
Financial reporting responsibility including the tailoring of reporting information to deliver financial improvement
Delivery of financial reporting including communication and explanation to enable understanding for senior non-financial client heads
Monitoring, reporting and delivery of ad hoc reporting including cash flow forecasting, project costing, tracking costs, recurring revenues and WIP
Balance sheet reconciliations
Management, development and training of accountancy and bookkeeping team through to professional qualification

Person Requirements:
Experience gained within a similar Accounts Manager, Client Manager, Accountant, Finance Manager type role, either within practice (highly desirable) or industry
ACMA/ACCA part-qualified, MAAT qualified or qualified by experience
Proven experience at a Reporting or Management Accountancy level
People management experience is ideal although training can be given if applicable
Hands on accounting and bookkeeping experience on major ERP software (Oracle, SAP) or the ability to demonstrate technical ownership of SME software (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks) including the ability to continuously improve both the day to day and month end processes
Strong communication skills particularly at a senior level
Customer focused both internal and external
